Gisèle Hart Membership Award

This award was created to honor Gisèle Hart for her many years of service to FLANC. Mrs. Hart was a truly dedicated and enthusiastic French teacher and long-time FLANC Council member. Through her teaching and work with FLANC, Mrs. Hart has made significant contributions to the field of foreign language teaching. As a Master Teacher of dozens of aspiring French teachers in the Bay Area, Mrs. Hart was greatly instrumental in the promotion of language learning for over thirty years.

Purpose of the Award: To encourage new language teachers

Nomination procedure:

Nominated recipients must have fewer than 3 years of language teaching experience.
Nominators must be current members of FLANC.
Nominations must be received by August 31, 2024.

This award offers two years of complimentary membership to FLANC. The recipients for the academic year 2023-2024 will be recognized at FLANC 2024.
